Kismet is a young Calico cat found on a busy highway, moments from death. My (birth) mom was killed trying to carry me
across the road. A kind person stopped to pull her off to the side of the road and thankfully spotted me, motionless on the
berm. It was a very hot day in July and I was 5 days old. I was rushed to a local veterinarian and then taken in and lovingly
raised by my foster mum, a greyhound mom and several cats. I am happy, playful and loving. As my mum says, I am TCFW (too
cute for words). I am spayed and also Feline Leukemia POSITIVE (FeLv +). Feline Leukemia is contagious to cats and is easily
transferred to other cats by saliva. However, I could live a long and healthy life without ever having symptoms. I need a
home without any other cats or a home with other FeLv + cats. I get along great with dogs and really need a playmate. You
won't fall for a sweeter kitten. It's kismet (fate) that I am alive! My mum says its kismet that I'll find a perfect home
where I'll be loved & cherished. I do believe her!
Smokey
SMOKEY was an abandoned cat, left in a trailer to starve when his owners took off, not to return, a kind samaritan found
him and he has now found his way to us. SMOKEY is about 6 months old and will be completely vetted prior to adoption. He is
a very affectionate cat that loves people and gets along with the cats and dogs at his foster home. We require a vet
reference and/or home visit. His adoption donation is 85.00 to help defer some of his vet care.
Amethyst is a small dilute tortoiseshell that was born with the herpes virus and has a consistent runny nose. She would need
to be adopted into a home with no other cats or cats who already have the herpes virus.
